Everything in Femme land is oyster-pink and slightly diffuse, inhabited by sweet-natured women whose trust and gentleness is never exploited.
Femme leads on freesia, with a side order of rose; if there's any tangerine it's a slightly popsicle-like citrus-vanilla hybrid, not a bracing, definite 'tangerine'.
I wouldn't describe it as a 'white flowers' scent – this implies a headiness and body which is IMO absent.
The floral heart is gentle and lovely as a ‘bridal bouquet’, composed of white flowers, Madagascar jasmine, lily and rose. Boss Femme is a lovely floral perfume with no lasting power and hardly any projection. I don’t get any fruit notes from my skin, it’s a nice romantic floral for everyday use. I don't believe this is a bad thing, cheaper rose perfumes and sprays smell rosy but not as real roses do, and expensive rose perfumes add layers and other complimentary notes in with it and can sometimes end up very overpowering because of it.
The longlasting trace wafts with notes of musk in harmony with delicate apricot skin and lemon tree wood. Light rose, lily, jasmine, freesia mix with a faint touch of tangerine for about 30 minutes and then nothing. If you want a simple inoffensive rose perfume that could be worn by anyone at any time then this one is for you. It's very pleasant, light, but at the same time has a slightly bitter flower note to it, moderately sweet and just safe to wear to work.
As has been said many times by other reviewers, this scent will annoy nobody, apart from people who can't stand any perfume at all.
Femme is a perfume you seek out for the same reasons that you seek out a T-shirt that will sit well under a work jacket – a good versatile shade, a decent weight of opaque fabric, sleeves that are more than weird little caps that cut off at armpit level, and a flattering cut.
Then I got bored and tired, and since i have many others that I liked more, so I decided to swap it away.
I regretted it quite soon, because I started to miss it.
You do not see it mentioned often here, but it is a lovely floral, clean and simple. Fresh and tender, like a cool drop of dew rolling off a fuzzy pink rose petal, mixed with a soft aroma of sweet tangerine peel.
